Rule For International Passengers

1. USD 25 shall be collected from foreign nationality and the equivalent in birr at the prevailing exchange from Ethiopian Nationals.

2. USD 2.5 shall be collected from transit passengers whose stay is between 24-48 hours.

3. Free for direct transit passengers and for those transit passengers whose stay is less than 24hrs.

Rule For Domestic Passengers

Passengers embarking from any domestic airport disembarking at any domestic Airport within Ethiopia shall pay birr 20.

Handling Over of Passengers Manifests

1. All duly signed and stamped passengers manifests of incoming and out going flights shall be handed to the Ethiopian Airports Enterprise (Air Port Finance Office) in two copies at the end of every day or the next working day for all flights.

2. Passengers’ manifests of international flights submitted to Ethiopian Airports Enterprise by an operator will not serve for raising invoices but will be used for statistical and cross checking the number of originating and transit passengers submitted by an operator.
